Showing Appreciation in April

Sometimes we get so caught up in our busy lives, we forget to take the time to appreciate those around us. Whether it be a co-worker who helped ease your workload, a friend who consoled you through a tough time, or a family member who supported your business we should acknowledge and express our appreciation. Showing appreciation creates a positive world, and strengthens the relationships we have. It doesn’t have to be big, a small token of appreciation can make someone's day brighter.

Need help finding something to give? Check out our shop (by category or by occasion) our shop is full of hundreds of custom items.

April includes several holidays where people can show appreciation. Check out what’s on the April calendar:

Easter

Bunnies, easter egg hunts, and pastel outfits! Easter is a joyful time when families gather together to celebrate.

During Easter weekend, you’ll find many Christians attending church services. Easter is a very important holiday in that religion. People who believe appreciate and honour the sacrifice Jesus made by dying on the cross, and acknowledge his resurrection after crucifixion that signifies his promise of eternal life for believers.

Passover

Passover is a Jewish holiday. It commemorates the Biblical story of Exodus, where God freed the Israelites from slavery in Egypt. It is celebrated with family gatherings, religious services, and traditional foods.

Eid al-Fitr

Eid is celebrated by Muslims worldwide. It marks the end of a month-long fast (the end of Ramadan). Showing appreciation, and giving thanks is what Eid is centred around. Families and communities come together and dine, give each other presents, and dress up in their best attire.

Earth Day

Earth is our home, and earth day is a time to raise awareness and appreciate our natural environment.

It promotes a green lifestyle, encouraging people to live in a way that protects our planet from harm, so that future generations have a healthy and sustainable future. On Earth Day, or any day, pick up trash, plant a flower (do you need a vase? *wink* *wink* - Take it Personal Vases), or carpool.

Remember to Reduce, Reuse & Recycle!

Admin Day

Administrative Professionals are life savers! They handle all the admin tasks, organize and maintain schedules, manage calendars, manage budgets and finances, the list goes on and on. Admin professionals keep the workplace running smoothly. If you work with an admin professional, make sure to express your gratitude to them.
